Unamusement Park Is Moving

I am in the process of moving Unamusement Park to a self-hosted blog. The process will be complete by next weekend (unless, of course, I accidentally blow up the main Hate Laboratory during the transfer, as I have been known to do). We’re staying here until then. Everything here — including comments — will go over to the new blog when it’s ready.

very happy to see this, something as important as what you are doing should not be subject to the whims of wordpress.

i am being completely serious, this type of conversation is too precious to risk losing. i am personally very pleased to see it moving to an independent URL.

Update: I’ll be staying here on WordPress for at least a week while I get the new blog all polished and shiny (i.e., endless adjustments to style.css), but at least my entire website is backed up somewhere — comments and all.

On another topic…interesting developments: “The sexual assault case against Dominique Strauss-Kahn is on the verge of collapse as investigators have uncovered major holes in the credibility of the housekeeper who charged that he attacked her in his Manhattan hotel suite in May, according to two well-placed law enforcement officials.

…Among the discoveries, one of the officials said, are issues involving the asylum application of the 32-year-old housekeeper, who is Guinean, and possible links to people involved in criminal activities, including drug dealing and money laundering.”

In other words, she’s exactly the kind of deeply tanned, criminal garbage that the US is dementedly importing in mass numbers for no good reason. I <3 diversity!!!!
